Friends of Pasco Elite joined our cheerleaders for an evening of good food and fun at Beef 'O' Brady's. A percentage of the nights' earnings was donated to our team and we thank Beef's for their support of our program. Pasco Elite cheerleaders organized a toy drive and collected nearly 350 stuffed animals. The toys were delivered to Manas, our Air Force Base staging center in Afghanistan, to distribute to orphaned, sick or displaced children. The team's efforts helped to brighten the day of less fortunate children overseas. Pasco Elite Senior Teams spent two days at camp learning amazing stunting techniques from Team Athletics. Pasco Elite parents showed their pride for the red, black and white at the Gasparilla Open in St. Petersburg and earned a Parent Participation Award from American Cheer Power! Way to go, Pasco Parents! Pasco Elite cheerleaders participated in a door decorating contest in Daytona Beach and showed their creativity off the cheer floor with outstanding entries! Other hotel guests quickly learned that Pasco Elite has amazing team spirit! Pasco Elite Seniors, Sierra, Jessica and Kelly were selected as candidates for Cheer Ltd cheerleading camp staff. Pasco Elite team members, Mickala and Chelsea were selected as All American cheerleaders at the State Cheer & Dance Championships of Florida, in Jacksonville, Florida. The girls traveled to Honolulu, Hawaii to participate in the Pro Bowl Performance Tour & National Scholarship Invitational competition and performed in the nationally televised half time show of the 2007 NFL Pro Bowl.
